DAY 1:

Mumbai / Delhi / Ahmedabad - Tokyo

Welcome to Japan - "The Land of the Rising Sun".

Bon voyage! Welcome to Tokyo. On arrival at the Narita International Airport. You will be greeted by the Maharaja Tours & Travels Manager / local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport, who will assist you to transfer to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Tokyo (Dinner)

DAY 2:

Tokyo Local

Enjoy best views of the city from the observatory deck of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Exciting city tour of Tokyo: Imperial Palace. Enjoy Shopping.

Today after a sumptuous American breakfast, enjoy a full day guided city tour of Tokyo. Start your tour visiting Sky Tree first observatory. An unique opportunity to view the city of Tokyo from a height of 350mts from the observation deck on the top of Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world. Later visit the Asa Kusa District known for its renowned Sensoji Temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple which was constructed in the 7th century. You also have some free time at the famous Nakamise Shopping Arcade where you get a chance to try local snacks and buy Japanese souvenirs. Also enjoy shopping at Odaiba, Venus Fort & Palette Town. Next visit Toyota Car museum (Mega - web). Enjoy an exhibition of Toyota cars, and feel the nostalgia as you look at famous makes from the 50s, 60s and 70s in the most famous downtown area of Japan - Ginza. Well - established Japanese shops and famous brand name shops from around the world stand side by side on the district's main street including the Sony building. Tonight, enjoy sumptuous dinner at an Indian Restaurant. Overnight in Tokyo. (Breakfast & Dinner)

DAY 3:

Tokyo - Hiroshima (Strolling through the ancient capital of Kamakura)

Cruise on Lake Ashi. See the magnificent Mt. Fuji & Kamakura

Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Kamakura is an accident city. It was flourished since warlord Minamoto Yoritomo established a new government in 1185. Kamakura is surrounded on three sides by mountains and the south side faces the sea, so this landscape was highly suitable for constructing a fort. With its many historical temples and abundant natural scenery, the city is crowded with visitors throughout the year. Hakone, where you will enjoy a cruise on the lake Ashi. Here you get a chance to enjoy the picturesque view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Then visit the Owakudani Boiling Valley. Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later proceed to one of the highlights of tour - a visit to Mt. Fuji. Visit the Mount Fuji 5th station (Weather permitting) and the Fuji Visitor's center. Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and often considered the symbol of the country. Later catch a Bullet Train (Shinkansen) for Hiroshima. Tonight, enjoy an Indian Dinner. Overnight in Hiroshima. DAY 4:

Hiroshima - Osaka

City tour of Hiroshima including visit to Itsukushima shrine at Miyajima.

This morning after an American breakfast, proceed to the Miyajima area to see the beautiful Itsukushima shrine and the floating Torii - one of Japan's most scenic spots. Enjoy Indian Lunch. Then proceed for a guided city tour of Hiroshima, the city devastated by the atomic bomb in the World War II. Visit the A - Bomb Dome, the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion. See the peace memorial park with its Museum and number of monuments of peace including the Flame of Peace, Flocks of Doves and the Children's Memorial. The Cenotaph with its arched tomb is a tribute to those who died because of the bomb. Transfer to Osaka, on arrival enjoys a delightful Indian dinner at an Indian restaurant and then check into your hotel. Overnight in Osaka.

DAY 5:

Osaka - Nara- Osaka

Visit Nara. Todaji Temple with Deer Park.

Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day visit to Nara. Nara - the first capital of Japan. Visit the Todai-ji temple, which houses the Largest Buddha statue in Japan and the Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming Deer. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the Gods, Nara's nearly 1200 deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure. Enjoy Indian lunch. Then after transfer to Osaka, on arrival visit Osaka Castle, the castle is one of Japan's most famous for shopping at shisaibashi shopping Street. In the evening Indian dinner and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Osaka (Breakfast & Dinner)

DAY 6:

Osaka - Kyoto - Osaka

Visit Kyoto. Visit Golden Pavilion , Kiyo Mizu Dera

Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day visit to Kyoto, one of the most beautiful cities of Japan. Visit the gold - leaf covered Golden Pavilion are renowned for their exquisite beauty. Tour the Kiyomizu - dera Temple world heritage site. The view from the main hall built on the chiffs is exquisite. Also enjoy Nishijin Ki-mono show and enjoy demonstration and a display of historical materials. Overnight at the Hotel in Osaka (Breakfast & Dinner)

DAY 7:

Kansai International Airport

Fly back home.

Enjoy an American breakfast at your hotel. Later today proceed to the airport as this fantastic tour comes to an end. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour with Maharaja Tours & Travels.
